Medal of Honor is alot of fun and is more brutal than cod. by that i mean theres more blood and some weapons have the power to blow off heads wich is wicked bad ***. alot of fools bit-h about how the game is linear or too short or too easy. and there right. it does have flaws but u get into it. this was the most fun i had with a shooter since playing rsv2. do yourself a favor and rent this game. i beat it on hard in seven hours.

There will be a beta starting in September. The beta will be an open beta meaning everyone can join. People who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor will get early access though. No set date has been given yet apart from sometime in September.
We have not heard anything about it, and if you don't wanna blow 60 bucks, buy it see if you like it and within 6 days think about if you want to keep it and then on the 7th day either keep it or get a refund.Is there going to be a battlefield 3 beta?

The battlefield 3 beta is currently slated for a September release for anyone who has a copy of Medal of Honor Limited Edition. If you pick it up make sure it says Limited Edition and has a red Battlefield 3 beta mention in the top left corner. These editions will have exclusive early access to the beta but an open beta is rumored to be held at a later date. If you pick up Medal of Honor: Limited Edition and are signed up for EA online, than the game will be all you need. If you have played previous EA games online than you should already be signed into EA online.



The blockbuster in my area is having a buy one get one free sale on all games $15 and under. Medal of Honor was included in the sale. I got it for free after picking up Fallout: New Vegas. Maybe you want to check out your local blockbuster before anywhere else to purchase.

Question about Battlefield 3 early beta?

Once and for all, I'd like the answer to this question. So they write that the ones that will get to play the 48 hour earlier Beta has to have ordered Battlefield 3 limited edition through origin or own limited edition of Medal of honor. What about us who ordered Battlefield 3 limited edition through another site? It's still limited edition and we will have to play on origin.     no, you will need to pre order it or somehow get chosen and the code goes to your email. There are a whole lot of VIP people and Battlefield 3 would be overloaded by too much people. And I got Medal of Honor Beta by just getting the code in my email when i didnt even preorder it, anyway the multiplayer sucks because the people who made it put all of their work into the Campaign. So the Campaign should be the reason people are going to buy it.

    As of Aug 25 there has not been a confirmed release date for the beta. (lots of rumors though) EA and DICE has confirmed that it will come out in September and users who own MOH LE will get 48 hours of early access to it. You must have an EA account and any email sent will have been sent to the email linked to the EA account.

    Limited Edition copies usually end in approximately 2-4 weeks after release, especially with games published by EA (like Bad Company 2 for example). Also, Battlefield 3 will be a sequel to Battlefield 2 (not Bad Company 2), so it'll be more like Battlefield 2.

    So I know that I'm supposed to get a Battlefield 3 beta key for having Medal Of Honor : Limited Edition, but I still haven't gotten any e-mails or anything. I recently got Medal Of Honor, about 2 months ago, so I don't know if it has anything to do with the time I bought it or what.     How do I activate the Battlefield 3 beta?

    I`m on top of the news and I know that everyone gets access to the open beta sometime in this month. Plus the closed beta will be available only to people who have the LE Medal of Honor or have pre-ordered Battlefield 3 for PC on Origin.I`m not sure if the closed beta is the 48 hour early access for those people, correct me if I`m wrong. This is the first beta I`m getting into and I had some questions about how it worked. This next question is about the closed beta. I bought the MOH Limited Edition, and I don`t know how to activate the beta once it comes out. Is there a message that comes onscreen asking you if you want to download the beta once you put the MOH disk in, or do you have to go to the marketplace and download the closed beta from there?     Medal of Honor vs Call Of Duty MW2 vs Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

    Black Ops is upon its release.

    Still, i don't think it will match the EPICNESS of Call of Duty 2, it just seemed gritty, and the online was tough to play because you actually needed skill.

    What are your thoughts on which out of these 3 is the best game?Medal of Honor vs Call Of Duty MW2 vs Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
    the new Medal of Honor is not that good. The camping was short and all over the place.



    Modern Warfare 2 campaign was okay, but the multiplayer was the biggest mistake in gaming history.



    BFBC2 was good. I really like the multiplayer but dislike the gaming engine.



    Black ops is a good balance game which does require some skill and I would say beats all of the above.



    I will always Remember COD2 and 4 but they are getting a little old now.
    MW2 all day. The other two don't have as ergonomic of controls and also not as realistic. When it comes to campaign I can't help you because I am an online player pretty much entirely. Any online shooter you're going to need some real skill, but nothing beats how genuinely realistic MW2 Hardcore team deathmatch can be. If you don't play hardcore, then those other shooters will probably become much more enjoyable than mw2, because in "core" mode (anything not hardcore in mw2) other online players pretty much have shields like in halo you have to shoot them so much.



    just wait for black ops... it is made by treyarch. treyarch created Cod5: World at War before MW2 was created by infitiward. treyarch is way better than infinitiward in many aspects so the new one should be idealMedal of Honor vs Call Of Duty MW2 vs Battlefield: Bad Company 2?
    Well Medal of Honor is a lot like BC2 but i would say its better. Mw2 is also good but i got board of it really easy, so i recommend Medal of Honor.

    The beta automatically appears for PS3 you don't need a code but PSN needs to update their store so it appears there but not time of when that will be.

    I never bought into the hype, not since day 1. It's definitely not a COD killer but at the same time I had fun. I mean I was never counting down the days to release, but I will buy it. Later on though, it won't be a first day thing. There are so many good games coming out I have to save my money ha ha. (MW3, Saints Row the Third, Assassins Creed: Revelations, Skyrim)...

    I bought a Medal Of Honor Tier 1 Limited Edition with a Code for the Battlefiled 3 Beta.



    When this is available, Will I get notified by e-mail and how would I access the Beta, by download? And has anyone played pre release betas before? What are they like compared to the full game?I have just looked at the Battlefield 3 trailers on YouTube,?
    1) Usually it will be a community announcement, and people with the code should go to so and so for more information. I would check the actual card the code is on, to get more information, it usually has a bunch of information and where to's that are usual to know



    2) pre release betas are choppy. They usually include the basics, like Team DeathMatch and Capture The Flag, at the most. The graphics are not amazing, as the point of the beta is to test out new graphics and such. You will also be extremely encouraged to report your findings to the developers, as they are trying to make the game as perfect as possible.

    EA will email you with a code to access the beta before the beta starts so between now and the 28th. I bought medal of honor when it first came out for the ps3 and the box says that i will have access to the beta, i created an account with ea years back and they know i bought medal of honor the game (which entitles me to play the beta) so i will be send an email with details (how it is all linked i dont know but when i log into my ea account on my pc it states that i bought and played medal of honor so at least EA do know)

    yes ! If you have the MoH Limited Edition ( which in this case you don't ) then you can play it 48 hours earlier than other Beta players. For these players the beta version starts 27th September on all platforms. In case you don't have MoH : LE, then the BETA starts for you normally, on 29th September on all consoles :)

    im going to buy a game but i don't know which one to choose i think all of them are great but i can only buy one. i know that medal of honor that is just like battlefield bad company 2 and i have already played fable 2 and i thought the campaign was good. i also that assassins creed 2 had good Graphics and awesome campaign.Witch game should I buy medal of honor(new one that just came out),fable3, assassins creed 3?
    I would hold off for fable 3 if I were you its looking very promising.I never really been too big of a fan of assassins creed so cant say too much on that and as far as medal of honor.That game is garbage I rented it through gamefly and THANK GOD I didnt blow 60 bucks on it and i'll just leave it at that.If a fps is what you crave wait on black ops its gonna be well worth the wait.Witch game should I buy medal of honor(new one that just came out),fable3, assassins creed 3?
    Metal of Honor is good. But I find they are all very similar to each other. If you don't already own a MoH game, I'd go with it.



    However, both Fables were very good - I believe Fable 3 to be the best choice if you already have a MoH game. Especially if FPS games aren't your main type of game. Also, the Campaign would probably last longer and be better than the MoH - although MoH's multiplayer value is greater.



    Assassin's Creed 3 won't be out for a while (March 2011,) so no need to worry about that one yet.Witch game should I buy medal of honor(new one that just came out),fable3, assassins creed 3?

    Fable 3 is going to be sweet. Freedom to screw around however you want.

    Assassins Creed 3 if you are into the story but that isn't going to release for awhile, perhaps you are thinking of Brotherhood.

    BFBC 2. So far it is the most realistic compared to other games. I like how it has destructible buildings, use of helicopters, tanks, mortars, and a great weapon selection online. Although MW2 is more fun, so to speak, most of it is unrealistic (commando, heartbeat sensors, dual wielded shotguns, etc.) The MOH series are fun, but every game I feel has a missing element.What do you guys recommend?     Medal of Honor is great if you are tired of playing Call of Duty. The campaign is fun and not overly-difficult with an interesting straightforward story. Gameplay is similar to CoD, but introduces the slide and the lean. Multiplayer is just ok. There a very few players now and most of them have a clear advantage with all of the upgraded weapons and equipment. Picking out enemies in multiplayer is difficult at first since everything you see are mostly different shades of brown.     Does anyone else think Medal of Honor suck?

    What a disgusting of a game. If it wasn't for the battlefield 3 beta i would've never considered getting this game. I was not expecting a lot from medal of honor but I think there was too much hype before the release. And that japanese dude was quoted "ModernWarfare shooters have a competition now" like are you serious? I'm not a cod fanboy and I love EA(same developer of battlefield series) butthis game is plain bullshyt.Does anyone else think Medal of Honor suck?

    Hey guys, I have a radeon 5770 1gb graphics card and a dual core 2.8ghz processor with 3gb ram, now what kind of graphics settings would I be able to get on battlefield 3? I have medal of honour limited edittion and bioshock 2 and they both run highest detail, so would i be able to run a nice (console) quality on my pc with battlefield?     Why is everyone getting so exited for battlefield 3?

    I mean everyone was getting all exited over medal of honor which is developed by the same company that made battlefield bad company 2(which is awesome). Everyone got exited for medal of honor and when it was released, people were disappointed(including me). At least just in the multiplayer. The singleplayer was really good. I'm just wondering if battlefield 3 will be everything that people say it's going to be. At least the multiplayer!Why is everyone getting so exited for battlefield 3?
    Well, first of all, Danger Close put more effort on Medal Of Honor than DICE, and Battefield Bad Company 2 was just made by DICE.



    Battefield 3 just has a new engine which is Frostbite 2.0 which is one of the best engines on games out there, and I like i said, it's made by DICE, not by Danger Close which made Medal Of Honor.

    Also, battlefield is going to have vehicles such as jets, tanks, helicopters, etc.
    Black Ops had tons of hype and it was really good, but the run and gun, somewhat more cartoonish, 1 dimensional game play got really old to me...



    The rounded game play, realism, and actual strategy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 is hands down better than Black Ops, graphics on the other hand I would say was about even, maybe Black Ops being a little better.. I couldn't put the game down.



    Battlefield 3 graphics look like might blow anything we have ever seen before out of the water on top of incredible rounded game play and destruction capability. It may be the only game I have ever pre order!!



    P.S. Not getting kicked off a server is soooo amazing... Black Ops players know what I mean.Why is everyone getting so exited for battlefield 3?
    It wont be a CoD killer but it will be its competition. I buy CoD every year even though they are the exact same. New guns and maps is what i pay 60 bucks for and a solid campaign. BF3 will be a great game. It's DICE's baby. MoH was made by a branch of DICE and that why it wasnt great. As said before it was also a rush job. Why? To get more money for BF3. BF3's graphics blow any other games out of the water. Even Crysis 2 (Good game). So, it wont kill CoD, but it will be a big Contender for it.
    Cause everyone thinks its gonna be the game that finally kills CoD. But it won't. Even though people complain that every Call Of Duty is the same, they still buy it each and every year.Why is everyone getting so exited for battlefield 3?

    In anticipation for the Battlefield 3 beta, I registered Medal of Honor Limited Edition on the registration section on EA. When I check my games, Medal of Honor is on there, but I can't see any more specific details and it only says Medal of Honor, not Medal of Honor LE.



    I'm sure my game is LE, but would it come up on the site as LE?Registered Medal of Honor LE on EA website?
    If you played it online then it will register. you will get the invite (if it ever comes out) to the e-mail address your online account is linked to.

    When will I get a confirmation email for the Battlefield 3 Beta?

    I got the Limited Edition Medal of Honor last year and know that the beta for Battlefield 3 comes out on the 27th for people who have it. I read on the Battlefield site that if you have an Xbox 360, they will send you a confirmation email and a code. Does anyone know when they will send this to people? I've never qualified for beta before and I don't really know how it works.When will I get a confirmation email for the Battlefield 3 Beta?

    I also have MOH Limited Edition and was supposed to receive an email but didn't. I don't know if this was some slip up on the part of DICE or not but supposedly lots of people have not received emails yet. Don't fret too much though- the beta will be open to everyone September 29th, so even if we somehow got missed on the list we will still be able to get some play time in when they open it up to everyone.

    Alot of people will run into this problem, but you have to have a god computer rig to get the best gaming experience for the new game battlefield 3. I'm going to say no it will not do well on your rig. I'm sure alot of desktops will have problems for sure alot of laptops will have even more problems.     Battlefield/medal of honor question?

    i am really good at battlefield bad company series

    It took me about 3 months each to get all the stuf on both (for bc1 level 50 For bc2 level 28)



    I just got medal of honor and beat campaign. I looked at some online play of it and it is very similar to the battlefield series.



    How long do you think it would take me to get to tier 1 levelBattlefield/medal of honor question?
    Probably the same length as the previous games if not shorter. Tier 1 is level 15 and each level increases between 500-1000xp (not sure on the exact number but I think it's 500) I got to level 15 before I reached 28 in BC2 and I play BC2 more than Medal of Honor, so I don't think it will take that long for you to rank up.



    Now the singleplayer was made by Danger Close and multiplayer was made by DICE, which were the people behind the BC series and other products, but multiplayer is completely different from their other works. The levels are smaller, no vehicles(there's one map that has a vehicle, which is a Bradley), killstreaks, no destructible environments, but is still a fantastic experience. So all in all I believe you will get to Tier 1 in under a month.Battlefield/medal of honor question?
    it took me about a couple of weeks for my assult and spec ops kit but i suggest selling that game its like a mixture of BFBC2 and COD with the game play not to mention the over excessive amount of snipers being that the bolt action rifles are one shot kill at almost any distance and the stupid kill streak rewards you get make you want to camp even more but if you really like it like i said took me about a few weeks that is if you focus on one kitBattlefield/medal of honor question?
    Maybe a week? Reason why medal of honor multiplayer looks like battlefield is because it was developed by the same developers (Diced). It wont take long to reach tier 1. Took me like a week or two.

    Usually the code will provide you with an option to download the beta when it comes out. You'll probably see scrolling text at the bottom of the main menu in MOH that tells you that it's time for the beta. Then you hold your middle button on your controller, go all the way to the left tab, and there is an option to enter your code. Once you enter your beta code, you will be able to download the beta to your Hard Drive.



    It will either be that, or there will be a button added to your MOH game that will let you enter the beta (they did that for Halo Reach Beta). It's more likely the first option though.How do you get the Battlefield 3 beta(xbox360) when it comes out?
    It supposedly was supposed to be released as part of the MOH game later on, but I heard they may make it a download to increase activity.

    Having played both myself...much more than i'd care to admit. Both games have many pros and cons at every intersection. First and most importantly weapons and upgrades. Battlefield clearly takes the cake here, the weapons in MOH just seem so forced and all though some deal out great damage, sometimes it feels as though a full mag should have dropped that AQ down the alley. Often resulting in a change to the sniper class for a moment of enjoyment. In BC2, this doesnt feel as so. Which gives the game a more controlled feel. The gadgets are another area that MOH takes a bow to BC2. In my opinion BC2 takes the gold medal home while MOH gets gets a solid pat on the back.Should i buy Medal of Honor or Battlefield Bad Company 2?

    Where can I find multiplayer servers where people play older PC games online like Battlefield 1942 and SWAT 3?

    I have some oldish PC games like Battlefield 1942, SWAT 3, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, Age of Empires I and Age of Empires II. When I load the multiplayer menu in these games I can't find any servers to play on.     first make sure you have all of the bf 1942 updates, and punkbuster updates for bf1942. after you're patched, configure the server filters to allow the widest amount of choices possible. after you update the server list you should find a fair amount of servers to play on. i haven't played bf1942 much since switching to bf2, but i'm sure there are still lots of servers playing the game.

    there's also a great mod of the game called desert combat final. get it.

    i miss ctf. stupid ea.

    Will Battlefield 3 have connection issues like Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor have?

    Ever since the Battlefield 3 beta has ended i have been having the most difficult time trying to connect to Bad Company 2/Medal of Honor's multiplayer. It's either i get this message "Failed to connect to EA online" or Cannot connect to EA servers". Seeing how popular Battlefield 3 is i hope that they will put alot of effort into keeping there servers operational at all times (And just to let you guys know im playing on the Xbox 360)Will Battlefield 3 have connection issues like Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor have?

    Well, I hope not as it is one of the things that could really ruin your gaming mood.

    It seems to me that BC2's servers have been so crowded and that could be the reason that from time to time it's difficult to connect.



    Based on the reviews I've read about BF3, everything seems to be fine and there were minimal slight problems encountered but not really that worrisome.

    from what i understand youll get an invitation to the beta if you buy the limited edition medal of honor. i also bought it and didnt find a code so i dont know exactly how youll actually get to the beta (which hasnt been released yet) but if youve bought a new copy of limited edition you should get the beta when it comes out

    No BF3 was cancelled due to only 3 pre orderings so far while MW3 has received millions. MW3 will sellout. No Jess Timothy is not a fanboy I just realized the better franchise in fps gaming.     I purchased the non limited edition of Medal of Honor Xbox 360 and played it for a month. Then I found out that I had to have the limited edition of Medal of Honor to gain early access to the Battlefield 3 beta coming in September, so I purchased the limited edition. I put in the disc hoping that an email would come up in my inbox (the invitation to early access to the Battlefield 3 beta) but I have not recieved one and it has been 12 hours.     they havent sent out an invitation. the only way you would get an email was if you sign up for battlefields newsletter. the beta hasnt started yet, and they havent invited anyone yet. also, its not a big deal if you have the limited edition of moh, the early access is only 48 hours early, after those 2 days then anyone and everyone is allowed to join. so you probably wont get an email about it unless you subscribe to the battlefield newsletter, and to be on the safe side you should probably have an ea account. but dont expect an invitation for a while

    You know, I have heard that all you need is the online pass from MOH for the early access to the battlefield 3 beta and you will get some kind of email.. Giving you another pass for the early access. To be honest I'm trying to do the same thing but if it won't work I would be pissed so I'm trying to get more information but I haven't came accoss anything else at the moment but I hope this helps you out

    No, it won't be like Medal of Honor. Based on gameplay footage form the alpha stage, it seems to be Bad Company 2 on steroids. Graphics engine upgrade, larger maps, more vehicles, and an improved building destruction system - this game is going to be fantastic. Not to mention that the Back to Karkand expansion will bring back maps from BF2, which also kicked ***.Is the battlefield 3 online going to be like the medal of honor?
    Nope. It'll be more akin to Battlefield 2 (from 2005, just so people don't get it confused with that Bad Company crap) which was probably the best multiplayer FPS I've ever played. Medal of Honor was just a half-assed reboot of what used to be a great series.

    Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?

    Graphics don't even come close to the gameplay trailers they released a few months ago. The guns recoil like crazy. Your guy has a short amount of sprint. And the beta is constantly down so no one can play it. Very disappointing to me and I wish I never pre-ordered it. Hopefully modern warfare 3 is better cause I prefer the recent Medal of Honor over Battlefield 3 at this point.Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?

If they didn't want people to ask questions about video and online games, they wouldn't have included a video and online games catagory.     And yes, after playing the Beta on PS3, I'm not impressed so far. I thought this year might be the year that BF could finally compete with COD, but now I'm not so sure. Hopefully the finished game will be significantly better.

    To answer your question, yes, I find BF 3 Beta pretty disappointing so far. My reason is simple, and is only one reason, because I find the game decently fun otherwise, although not up to par with even Modern Warfare 2 in my opinion, which also was plagued by the problem I am about to describe. Anyway, on to my reason. I was hoping they would do away with the whole level up system. I find shooter games that require you to play 10 hours a day to keep yourself on even terms with other players a huge factor that turns me away from these type of games. The starting weapons are complete junk without the attachments, and 24 hours into the beta I find people already have far superior weapons and attachments that already have me at an automatic disadvantage. This will only get worse as it goes on. Games like Gears of War 3 and Halo reach have level up systems as well, only they were smart and went with only cosmetic upgrades and achievements with thier system. Who wants to play a shooter game that you can't pick up and put down as you please without knowing already ahead of time, you're probably going to get smeared by people who never put the controller down? If i wanted to grind my way to superiority, I'd play an MMORPG.Anyone else find the Battlefield 3 beta a big disappointment?

    choose a grip or the other thing not sure what it called but it works when your on the floor or in anyway you place your weapon but you cant move wile using it

    Okay, one at a time.

    1. The graphics in the gameplay trailers you saw a few moths ago were on the PC at max graphics on the newest and most expensive PC available. Consoles are 6 year old hardware, they can't keep up with a current PC graphically or otherwise. And, in addition, the console beta is compressed into a 1.3GB download. Because of this they had to turn the graphical settings down to save memory. Not to say that the final release version of the game will even approach the PC version's graphics, but they will, at least, be a bit better.

    2. Is this your first Battlefield game? If so, you should know that the guns have always had a bit of recoil. But, you manage that like people do in real life. Fire in bursts at range to ensure the bullets hit the target. If you're right in their face, feel free to go all rock n' roll on them. I know I do.

    3. Actually, I don't know how to respond to this one as I don't personally have any problem with the sprint and I haven't bumped in to anyone else who does. One point to you, sir.

    EDIT: I have recently discovered that you are actually supposed to be able to sprint infinitely. The whole "not being able to sprint" thing is a glitch that will be fixed by launch.

    4. The servers were only down for about 4-5 hours on day one. That's only a couple of hours longer than the Reach beta was down on its first day. Keep in mind it's a beta, meant to help iron out bugs, stress the servers, and sort out any gameplay issues. They do occasionally have to stress the servers to see how well they cope. And, as a result the servers sometimes get shut down.

    I implore you, at least give the beta another chance with these things in mind before you go condemning BF3 to failure. There aren't even vehicles in the console betas yet so how can you say it isn't worth it when you haven't even experienced what Battlefield is all about?
